It did not occur to me you could do that. I suppose you just get a controller separately and download the software? I am not sure Skyrim is worth the trouble, but that would enable you to play the game as it was apparently designed and still get mods which I find are always necessary for Bethesda games both because they are so buggy and because the characters are so ugly
