Now in NM I've had to turn it down temporarily to Players 3 in the Catacombs, and Players 5 in the Act 2 Sewers.

I was using "Standard attack" and I suppose that's why I got odd results such as 9.5 fps, and could go below the supposed minimum to 7.5 fps.
