As far as Lost, I never really got into it myself. This thread did intrigue me enough to go read up the episode summaries on Wikipedia. The result of my condensed pseudo-watching was that I think it sounds like all of those Star Trek episodes that focus on time travel which ended up being terrible. Hopefully Lost did it better than Star Trek!
