In fact, that would have been the least reason. What difference would it make to sit - toon, zombie or dead? It screwed you up when you were trying to get things out of the bank or use the AH or talk to npcs or... It was a messed up event foisted on their player base and I have some anatomical ideas of placements of any future plans for such "fun".
