Quote:Since when do liberal comedians let little things like facts and the truth get in the way? :P... especially in material about a Bush administration that didn't let facts and the truth get in the way?
I'd say 2004.
Hmm, if you classify anti-Bush material as "liberal" you haven't been listening for the past couple years, you're still living somewhere between 2003 and 2005.
I should think the date November 4th, 2008 is a pretty indicator that anti-Bush and "liberal" are different -- unless you qualify this country as being mostly liberal, which doesn't make sense.
Besides, I thought that the common definition of liberal included "lacks sense of humor". At least, that's part of the cartoon. Oops, I guess it's me living in the past -- now that John Stewart is here (thank God!) that part of the cartoon has had to be redrawn.
You may want to check out the "Obama Jokes" thread in this forum and see how a "conservative comedian" treats facts and truth. Then again, if you're only watching Fox News and forwarding political "joke" emails to yer buds, you might not even notice any distortions there.
For the record, this liberal saw the Operation error too. Though it may have been meant -- some of the anti-Bush supermajority think that OIF was just an attempt to "finish" ODS by certain people who were in both Bush administrations. But since they said "mission accomplished... near the beginning of the chain", Tuco agrees with AngelEyes on this one - they got it wrong.

ps. I don't really consider myself a liberal, other people do -- I am a conservationist, more conservative than conservatives!
The Dixie Chicks were right... but so was Ralph Nader.
