A reliable source at Blizzard has said (publically, IIRC) that D2 Accelerator is not considered a cheat there. However, that's not to rule out that someday they'll just take a swipe at every account they detect with any kind of packet sniffing that gives a fishy smell. I don't want to tell you "go ahead and use it without fear" only to have your account get hit 4 months from now.
