[Terenas] -- Raiding this week cancelled
#9
I've got a similar quest list, but my focus was on quests that you're likely to need 3+ people to do, so you can prep for those quests that the guild only does once in a blue moon. Enjoy.
Warning: This is very long.

Netherstorm:

Congealed Void Horror:
Logistically easy, one-shot kill, loot, & turn in. I mostly mention this because if you don't know the quest exists you'd probably never get it.
-The Horrors of Pollution
Quest start item drops from the Congealed Void Horror, which spawns in the toxic river south of Nexus-King Salhadaar. Follow the yellow-aggro Void Waste oozelings to the point where they drop dead on their own. He isn't always up, I guess the idea is that the ooze is congealing at that spot, but I don't know if a certain number of oozes have to make it there and die to get him to spawn. The mob itself hits pretty hard and is immune to stuns, so you'll need a healer or at least a tank + good dps.

Scryer/Aldor Chains:
These are basically two separate but intertwining questlines(ending in two different blue loot quests). There are a LOT of steps in these, and unfortunately if you concentrate soley on these quests you will miss other quests from area 52 or Consortium that are in the same area, mostly the manaforges. Those don't require much in the way of a group, however. One other thing to note is that you can do both the scryer and the aldor versions of this questline on the same character, and the rewards are different. I believe you just need to be friendly in order for the quests to be available, though it is possible that you must choose a side first (which is the only practical way of getting friendly unless you're a blood elf or draenai). These start in the inn in Area 52. Pick up any quests you see in the inn and do them all, as sometimes two quests will be available at once. Up until the Coruu quest, all quests are prerequisites for both lines.
-Manaforge B'naar(Scryer) / Distraction at Manaforge B'naar(Aldor)
-(more quests)
-Shutting Down Manaforge Coruu(Scryer) / Shutting Down Manaforge Coruu(Aldor)
Completing the Coruu shutdown opens up the second questline - the one that leads to Socrethar. See below.
-(more quests)
-Shutting Down Manaforge Ara(Scryer) / Shutting Down Manaforge Ara(Aldor)
Ara is significantly harder than the previous shutdown quests. Mobs spawn in groups of 3 and noticably faster. If you damage one of them, and thus stop his shutdown cancel channel, the others that have not been interrupted will run around like headless chickens until interrupted. Also, an elite spawns about halfway through the fight to stop you. To top it all off, the demon who drops the control crystal will probably respawn and aggro on you at some point during the shutdown.

-Kick Them While They're Down(Scryer) / Sunfury Briefings(Aldor)
-(more quests)
-Turning Point(Scryer) / Deathblow to the Legion(Aldor)
If you do not have a flying mount you must use the teleporter to access Socrethar's Seat. It might also be necessary to cause the Aldor NPCs to spawn. Aldors will receive NPCs to help fight the boss, but also have to fight another mob just prior to the boss. Scryers will receive an item which reduces the boss' damage and increases his damage taken. With both an aldor and a scryer participating, he's pretty simple. Alone, Scryers will probably have it easier than Aldors, especially if you don't let the NPCs tank.

Etherium Chain:
Fairly simple line that is at least all in the same area. Starts at the protectorate watch post, just NW of Manaforge Ultris.
-The Ethereum
-(more quests)
-Delivering the Message
This one can be a bit tricky, but it is definitely soloable. This is what you'd dream of if you had a nightmare about an escort quest. The npc does not stop for anything or help fight, but it will still happily aggro stuff, or trick you into aggroing stuff. The good news is that all you have to do is keep him alive until you get quest complete. You can either clear out all the mobs south of the imager pad to the conduit that goes down the side of the mountain beforehand, or just keep everything occupied while he does his business. Aggro them all on your mount and ride around, whatever works.
-Nexus-King Salhadaar
Should be fairly easy for a full group, but one thing to note is that his ice tomb will remove all of your buffs - including a druid's shapeshift, and, so I hear, a warrior's _stance_.

Shadowmoon Valley:

Uvuros:
Another logistically easy quest, pick up, kill, loot, turn in. From the wanted poster in your faction-alligned town. Unfortunately, the rewards are only green items, even though it's marked as a 4-man.
-Wanted: Uvuros, Scourge of Shadowmoon(Alliance) / Wanted: Uvuros, Scourge of Shadowmoon(Horde)
This guy didn't strike me as particularly tricky to kill. A full group should defeat him handily.

Befriending the Netherwing Dragons:
This is the quest chain to obtain neutral rep with the Netherwing faction. Also has some item rewards. You must complete this series before you can begin working on rep to obtain a Netherwing Dragon flying mount. You MUST have a flying mount in order to do this quest chain: The major NPC questgiver in this sequence is flying, so you can only talk to him in midair. For the most part, all of the quests are in the same area, east of the Scryer town.
-Kindness
-(more quests)
-Zuluhed the Whacked
This is a type of escort quest, when you accept the quest the event starts. So make sure everyone in your group has turned in the previous quest and does not have this quest in their log before starting, otherwise they may not get credit. It is advised to clear the area prior to starting, including the two towers nearby. Archers will spawn on the ramparts, so you will want to fight him inside the towers. He will also probably summon in an add during the fight, though if you burn him down fast he may not get a chance. If you take too long he may summon again! It's possible to ignore the add if you move to the other tower when he opens a portal... it will summon in away from the battle and won't aggro.
-Ally of the Netherwing
This is the quest where you actually get the loot & rep rewards.

Gorefiend Chain:
Starts with a quest in the alliance/horde towns, leading to the ancient orc spirit by the shadow altar, and then back for the rewards. In order to finish this one, you'll need a flying mount, or a warlock to summon, as the 5-man group quest is on netherwing ledge. You'll do a bit of traveling, but not too much, and not too far - it's all in Shadowmoon.
-A Ghost in the Machine(Alliance) / A Haunted History(Horde)
-(more quests)
The next three quests are given at the same time, as prereq to the following quests.
-Divination: Gorefiend's Cloak
-Divination: Gorefiend's Truncheon
-Divination: Gorefiend's Armor
This is the quest that actually requires a group. Again, not particularly hard for a balanced group.
-Teron Gorefiend, I am...(Alliance) / Teron Gorefiend, I am...(Horde)
This is the quest where you actually get the loot rewards. Note that there is no actual followup to this quest, but when you turn it in the NPC tells you that the helms will let you see Gorefiend, and to destroy him should you ever find him. Possibly an outdoor raid boss in shadowmoon? A boss in Black Temple? In any case, I would not sell the reward, as if it is discovered that you DO need it to fight him, you'll want to use the reward instead of having to use the statless spectrecles.

Ashtongue Chain - possibly has to do with black temple attunement?:
This is another Aldor/Scryer questline, at least at first. Starting in the respective faction towns, it eventually leads to the Warden's Cage where you'll meet some ashtongue deathsworn quest NPCs, who will continue the line to the end. Mostly, this chain is all in shadowmoon, if a bit spread out - however, before the big group quest, you will be sent to the Arcatraz in Tempest Keep(room just before the final boss has your goal). There is a very real possibility that this quest will have something to do with the Black Temple, as the items you are tasked to find are said to be the key to entry. (As a side note, remember back in Netherstorm, the prereq to the Arcatraz key questline? You had to retrieve another Ata'mal crystal from the burning legion that was also delivered to the Naaru.)
-Tablets of Baa'ri(Scryer) / Tablets of Baa'ri(Aldor)
-(more quests)
-The Ata'mal Terrace
As you attack the three elites channeling at the crystal, nonelite adds will spawn in clumps of 3 to attack you. Not truly hard with a full group, but you can range down the channelers from on top of the buildings without retaliation if you get there early:). Once those are cleaned up, the big guy will come down and you'll have to kill him for the crystal.
-Akama's Promise
This is the quest where you actually get the loot rewards.

Varedis:
This is the major Aldor/Scryer questline in Shadowmoon, starting in the respective faction towns. Unlike Netherstorm, the questlines and rewards are completely identical, and I hear you cannot do both faction's questlines as in Netherstorm. This chain leads to several other zones in outland, as well as requiring a shadow labyrinth run (second boss). Fairly easy until the instance quest, though it'll take you all over.
-Karabor Training Grounds(Scryer) / Karabor Training Grounds(Aldor)
-(more quests)
-Varedis Must Be Stopped(Scryer) / Varedis Must Be Stopped(Aldor)
These guys are at the southern terrace of the Black Temple. Varedis himself isn't all that tricky, just remember the tip of not standing somewhere where the ground is on fire. Also, someone with the quest needs to use the book on him when he transforms. Hopefully you won't have a druid tank as the only one with the book, as it can't be used in bear/cat. The other three mobs are spread out over the terrace but are easier. Don't bother using the book on them, it won't do anything.

Path of Conquest Battle:
While working on The Path of Conquest (Horde) / (Alliance) series, especially when you have to kill Corok and the Chancellor, is a good time to pick up and do this fairly quick yet hard quest series. The journal that starts the line drops off the named mounted patrol surrounded by guards. To do the followup, it's a good idea to have a full 5, if not more!
-The Journal of Val'zareq: Portends of War
-Battle of the Crimson Watch
This is a type of escort quest, when you accept the quest the event starts. So make sure everyone in your group has turned in the previous quest and does not have this quest in their log before starting, otherwise they may not get credit. It's not necessary to clear the nearby mobs, though it might make things a bit safer. You might also want to watch for others in the area aggroing things and bringing it into the battlezone. It's quite easy to do this with more than one group, you don't have to worry about tags or loot, all that has to happen is that every spawn dies. Only the group that started the quest will get credit, of course. There will be a series of waves, each with varying difficulty. It may be a good idea to bring two tanks or two healers (or two each) if you're only using one group. The first mass of mobs seems to go down quick even though they're elite. The second group of beholder-types will do massive damage - interrupting their spells can really help. The third group may require some fancy footwork. The final mob should be a straight up fight, aside from the fact that you're probably not going to be at full strength for it. Don't take this quest too lightly! Even though it only recommends 4...!

Cipher of Damnation - Leads to Tempest Keep Raid attunement:
This is without a doubt the longest of these shadowmoon chains. It is doubly worth it, however, since not only are the rewards pretty awesome, but it opens up the questline to obtain the key to The Eye, the Tempest Keep raid instance. The first quest will start from someone in the alliance/horde town, but all the rest are neutral faction. Quite a bit of traveling to do, though most of it is in shadowmoon (one trip to shatt).
-The Hand of Gul'dan(Alliance) / The Hand of Gul'dan(Horde)
-(more quests)
A ways down into this line, you will have three questlines open up at once, one for each son.
-Grom'tor, Son of Oronok
-(more quests)
-The Cipher of Damnation - The First Fragment Recovered
Green rewards for this step. While doing this one, I'd recommend doing the escort quest inside Coilskar Cistern.

-Ar'tor, Son of Oronok
-(more quests)
-The Cipher of Damnation - The Second Fragment Recovered
Green rewards.

-Borak, Son of Oronok
-(more quests)
-The Cipher of Damnation - The Third Fragment Recovered
This one requires killing Ruul, who while not requiring a full 5 people, is definitely not soloable for most folks, so you'll probably want to do this at the same time as the final group quest anyway. The rewards for this line are blue, as well.
-The Cipher of Damnation
There will be some NPCs to help you fight the boss, so as usual, the group quest should be easy enough. Once you complete this quest, Khadgar will have a quest for you (and you will get an in-game mail informing you of this) that leads to the Eye attunement.
