My solution (nothing special).
Do these steps in order. The order is important.
1 Build a wall.
2 Create a guest worker program. Allow current illegals to join it if they dont have a police record and allow new documented workers to enter the US.
3 Crack down on companies that still employ illegals.
4 Allow people with 15 years in the guest worker program to become citizens.
