My current computer is an Alienware and, while I was pretty happy with the result, I don't think I'm going to go that route again (I'm planning on upgrading my PC soon - I can only run F.E.A.R. on the lowest of low settings :( ). The case was unique and nice, but as a whole I felt like I was paying for more name than substance.

I'm probably just going to build my own this time around (I've been reading online tutorials like mad - it's been a while since I watched my dad build them) and obviously you can't do that with a laptop, so I don't know I suppose. I would recommend just not getting caught up in the 'Alienware' name though, I was very neutral on my experience with them considering the price I paid.

I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
