I didn't see this story carried in any major media outlets, only liberal websites. It's probably a rumor. That, or the Big Boys didn't want to risk alienating a chunk of audience.

Does anyone have any more information?

A cursory browsing of Snopes' forums suggests that this is just a hoax with no grounding in reality. There's also been zero verifiable sources on this.

So... Yeah, that's what I know.

If it was true wouldn't the Democrats be all over this? It just doesn't add up.

These are written more like rants than news articles.

Coincidentally, I just read the script for The Laramie Project.

While I'm not gay, I do parody stereotyped gay mannerisms frequently. Wyoming will never appear on any itinerary of mine, although Quantum Theory states that there is a very small probability that, at any given instant, I will be in Wyoming.

If only you had said Brokebarb Loungin' it would have been so well timed.

We need to work on our Mutt and Jeff routine here . . . though not anywhere near a sheep ranch.

No. I just think these are the lamest of all attacks and it doesnt seem respectable to link to them.

If someone comes out and says "I personally heard Bush say..." then sure its worth payinging attention to and discerning who is telling the truth.

But this is no better than what second graders do on the school yard.

Exactly. If I believed in the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, I'd almost imagine that they are the guys who'd come up with things like this to undermine the opposition, but since I am a devout believer of the real conspiracy theory - the Plot By The Giant Rat of Skoro To Consume All Of Our Lost Socks, I'll have to settle with a wish to slap the person who wrote that.

It's actually significantly worse, as they proport to be intelligent and dillute the discussion of anyone in the proximity.

Did any of that make sense? I'm pretty tired.

I am guessing the dead giveaway for most people was the "scrap of paper" line.

Godwin wept.
