This tag goes away after a certain number of hours of gameplay? This is my first ladder char.
The concept of a "virgin" economy is great. Puts us all on the same page.

I've started two ladder HC characters yesterday and today. When I took breaks, that message was there. After playing them four hours or so, that message went away.

You need to play a character for at least 2 hours within 10 days of his creation to prevent him from expiring. The expiration status in the character selection page is not updated in real time however. I played one of my characters for 4 hours on the afternoon of the patch, and he still had the "Expires in 10 Days" warning up until the next morning. As long as you are certain that a character has been played for more than 2 hours, you shouldn't worry too much about that expiration warning not updating itself right away.

Occhilyte the Paladin (cleric Variant) just got the cube in Act II, Rustinaille Trapper Assassin is about to kill Andariel, werewolf or werebear, I am not sure yet, Dog_OfWar druid just got started last night for reasons that still escape me.
