I recently found a magic ring of the bat (2% mana steal) and now I am wondering has anyone dug through the mpq enough to figure out if a rare can get both life and mana steal. Or perhaps there is some really happly lucky SOB out there already who can testify to the possiblity. :)
Either way I am glad. I really hated mana leech only appearing on amulets and I almost never used a rare .08 or .09 ring because I wanted my mana steal there. :P
