How does -% Enemy Elemental Resist Work? - Anguish - 11-08-2003 I was wondering how the new mod for -X% Enemy <Element> Resist works. I've read some conflicting view points on how they work. Basically, I have 2 Questions: 1) Does it lower resists by X, or X percent. (i.e. -30% Enemy Lit Resist would lower something with 200% Lit Resist to 170%? or 140%?) 2) Does it do this to all monsters that the person is attacking, or just the melee hit ones? (i.e. Lightning Fury with -X% to Enemy Lit Resist will lower the resists for all monsters in the fury, or just the one that was hit by the javelin?) Thanks for any info ahead of time. Anguish How does -% Enemy Elemental Resist Work? - adeyke - 11-08-2003 It works exactly like cold mastery. It doesn't have any effect on immune monsters (though it does work when the immunity has been removed by conviction/LR). It has a straight subtraction of the resistance (e.g. 20% resistance - 25% = -5%). There's a lower cap of -100% on a resistance. It should work on all damage you deal, but will have no impact on team members, minions, etc. |
