Immortal King build (I doubt I will ever get the Soul Cage but can hope)
skills:
Whirlwind, Mace Mastery, Battle Orders, Natural Resist (5-8), Find Item (5-10) [done after lvl 85]
This still leaves me with 20+ points to spend in the late nightmare - early/mid hell range.
I was thinking about Shout and Iron Skin but I don't know if a barb can "block" (not shield blocking, since I won't have a shield) while in the middle of whirlwind.
I don't worry about while not whirling, since, the only time I will be doing that and in combat is when using Berserk, so, DR is competely useless anyways. Shout does add to Berserk damage but not worth it just for synergy bonus to me.

Defense does matter while whirling.
