I was just wondering if the -enemy resist that cold mastery gives allows enemys that are immune to cold to be harmed.

No. Cold Mastery will not break immunities. If, however, you have some other effect that *can* break an immunity like Lower Resist or Conviction, the CM will take effect afterward.

If your merc can live through NM Baal runs, he's ok...
But in my case, they usually just become shields against the 2nd and 3rd wave Baal Minions, get trampled by the 4th and 5th... I play Asia1, and I only see clvl 80+ characters using mercs...
