This guide of sorts sums up a lot about Priest play, and addresses why there are so few Priests out there. Ultimately, playing Priests can be very stressful when you play with others who, well, are less than good at playing THEIR class or don't understand how Priests work, screw up, get everyone killed, and then blame the Priest. :) If you've never played a Priest or you're somewhat interested, give it a read. It's worth it.
