Hi!
Actually I don't even think this is bad. It is quite good music in my opinion, considering the age and the fashion of those days. Heck, even nowadays you can listen to it at parties and have a helluvalotof fun!
Then again, seeing how the boys and girls of Alcazar costume, that's not even old fashioned...
Plus: It would be far fetched to cite this as an example of German dance and music culture. That's not to say the recent German pop culture is anything beyond miserable, but I guess that is a feature of all western 'civilizations' nowadays (casting shows etc.)
Plusplus: Did you know that this song was once a huge No.#1 Hit? I think it's fabulous.
PS: please don't quote me on this one.

Still not as bad as modern pop/rap/ R&B-videos. Not by far. I sort of enjoyed this german thing, in a pointing and laughint-sort of way ;)

Heh, I'm up to 12 now.
Edit: I showed this video to my wife and my son overheard it. He and I then proceeded to watch it at least 10 times as he was as mesmerized by it as I was. I even heard 4 words that I could understand, Vodka and drink (I think that was drink), tovarisch and gospodin. OTOH, my wife thinks I need to seek professional help. I definately will, as soon as I listen some more.....
