Zeal Melee sorc with new runewords - Zharous - 01-01-2005
I know this gear is insanely expensive. I have not built this sorc, and don't have any of the ladder gear necessary, but it sounds good on paper:
Anyone have the Zeal tables for a Sorc? (phase blade/level 8-9 Zeal)
Still need to figure out the perfect IAS for this build.
EShield + Merc for survivability since you'll be weak on block/DR
Dream Helm 20% resists
+2 Mara's Amulet 30 resists
Dream Tower/Hyperion Shield 20% resists
Passion Phase Blade (Zeal?)
+2 Chains of Honor +20 str 65% Resists 7 repl, 8% DR, 200% dmgDemons, 100% udead

+1 Arachnid's 20% cast 10% slow
+2 Sojs (mana pool/skills)
Gore Rider (30% r/w, 15% crushing, 10% OW) 94 str req

+9 lightning skill charms
30% resists (Anya quests)
Memory Staff +9 eshield
All other charms +life / + mana
Swappable: Verdugo's for more DR/FHR/vita/regen?

AR = Enchant bonus, bonus from passion, +9 zeal..
(~37 Lightning Mastery = 482%)
(~28 Fire Mastery = 219%)
(~28 Enchant = 1112-1371 Fire Dmg = 1241 avg
That should give you:
Lighting Pulse Damage: 1 to 278*(1+4.82) = 1-1617 lighning dmg
Lighting Melee Damage: 1 to 1668*(1+4.82)*(1+4.82) = 1-56499 Lightning dmg
Fire Melee Damage: 1112-1371*(1+2.19)*(1+2.19) = 11315-13951 fire dmg
Zeal Melee sorc with new runewords - Boffin - 01-10-2005
First of all this build sounds fantastic.
I did try a mele enchanter with a passion phase blade but did not see any significant change in speed. This was only with the eye but it appeared that there was no increase in speed at all when I was using zeal. I think I had around 45%IAS. Maybe I was doing something wrong but I could not get that double attack speed so I changed to another weapon.

Oh this build is fantastic. I just got my ass kicked by one. A sorc that can deal 65k damage with one hit was a bit of a shock. The duel went like this..... Go!! teleport teleport smack dead. I had stacked lightning resistance but it didnt matter
God i wish I was rich enough but i think dream is the right name for this runeword.
