Griefing on a PvE server - Sword_of_Doom - 01-11-2005 Much to my chagrin and surprise, my party was griefed by a party of Horde. Let me explain. There is an escort quest in Felwood (The Flute of the Ancients) that requires a party to escort the npc from the top of the map to the bottom of the map (Ashenvale). It is time consuming and difficult as all the mobs are in the 50's. We were literally, after approximately 25 minutes of escorting this NPC, 10 seconds away from the completion of the escort when a party of Horde killed our npc we were supposed to protect. The maddening part was not only that they were able to kill the NPC but also it did not enable their PvP flag. My party immediately challenged them to PvP but they laughed and slinked away. IMHO this should not be allowed on PvE server. We did submit this to a GM but have yet to receive a response. What do you think? I am interested in what others think about this. IIRC this has been brought up to Blizzard and Tigole stated they were fixing it next patch.
