Stormrage - Ungoro - Tal - 02-25-2005
Hey gang - I've had a hankering to get Linken's sword again and have done as much of it as I can solo. I'm at the "Silver Heart" stage where I must go to Felwood and collect hearts and fangs. The next step's involve returning to Tanaris, killing a water elemental and then returning to Ungoro and killing the Blazerunner. Unfortunately I am not of sufficient level to solo these and am seeking assistance from our brave 52+ Lurkers. I'm thinking of going Friday night (the 25th) at about 8:30. Is anyone interested in helping me in my seemingly impossible task? It involves a bit of running around the continent but has teh benefit of sparkling conversation. :)

I think the only thing you might need help with is Blazerunner, though, and I would even question that. I soloed the rest (at 53-54) and helped a rogue do him. The worst part of it was finding the irontree heart. That took forever but I didn't mind because I should have plenty of firewood for my retirement cabin there in Felwood.

[edit] Hmmm... I assumed that the post indicated you were 52 but maybe that's not the case. It doesn't change my offer though. If I'm there, I'd gladly escort.

Thanks to Quark, Hykim and Catlyn I am now the proud owner of Linken's sword and boomerang. And 50 to boot. :)
