I like the brilliance of fall colours. :) Hence, I planted this Burning Bush in my yard - it has insignificant flowers in spring (which I am trying to amend by dint of planting a clematis under it, so it can climb over the sturdy branches of the Burning Bush and give me spring flowers on it too).

Most of the rest of the trees have yet to turn, so the maple and gingko trees have yet to show to best effect. Even the oak in the background is only rusty so far.

Beginning of this month I was for the first time in new england. It was a pitty the weather was not great, but still very beautiful. When I manage I will post some nice pictures (and I made a lot of them).

I reckon it would be somehow wrong for me to say you have a nice bush. :whistling:

But I did. Such a pretty red colour. I need to look in to getting me one of those. I am not sure it is a good idea though as I am currently losing the battle against the kudzu. A lot of plants are going to die later this winter after a couple of hard freezes, because I am going to go bananas with a flamethrower and reclaim what kudzu has taken.

I like plants. Trees. Bushes.

I don't know what it is called, but I have cleared a small patch of ground of all grass and greenery and lawn, and covered it in gravel and big rocks. Lots of sand. Cacti. Some sort of -scaping but I don't know what to call it. Some bushes too that grow in the desert. This weird thorny little tree with leaves that drip blood. I don't remember what it is called, but it has orange leaves and if you tear them, they bleed.

We were out for a hike on Saturday, just before that Big Wind came along and stripped every leaf from the area. It was a nice day to be outside.

I'd post a picture of the beautiful northwest fall colors, but they're the same as any other season...except wetter :)

Look at the wonderful mushrooms growing out of my mud-I mean lawn!
