WarHammer Online: Age of reckoning - Guest - 04-26-2006 http://www.warhammeronline.com/english/home/index.php http://www.warcry.com/scripts/columns/view...=117&colid=9448 This is a an extremely gushy review, but The writer has seem more of the game than most other reviewers. That said. This is the MMO Im looking forward to. I played WOW and loved everyscond - till I hit 60, and then it was a new game I didnt like so I headed back to DAoC. From all the talks with Mythic about this game it seems that they take the view that the end game is the game. Sure you should have continuing character development but most intrigueing game play should come in the end and involve PvP. Anyway, chack it out if you havent seen it before. WarHammer Online: Age of reckoning - Mithrandir - 04-28-2006 I really feel like Mythic has learned from its mistakes with DAoC... WAR sounds damn fantastic. All I need from WAR is for it to be DAoC minus Trials of Atlantis plus some other nifty stuff (i.e. my ideal MMOG) - and it sounds like that's exactly what they're doing. Probably the only thing that really disappoints me is that there is only two sides in WAR. I realize that it was much harder to balance, but having three sides fighting each other in DAoC made for some very interesting PvP. |
