my "achievements" - LochnarITB - 12-31-2009

I'm not a fan of the achievement system. For me, the achievements are to WoW as Hamburger Helper is to food. Hamburger Helper is acceptable if that's what my friends want to share with me but, for me by myself, I'd rather not eat at all than make it. My fun is grouping (5 man or raiding) and leveling/skilling toons to cap. Questing mostly only serves to get XP and new equipment only helps to do better as part of a group.

Warning for Terenas Lurkers: 3.3 somewhat broke WoW for me. It's all about raiding and PUGs with the new random LFG/R rewards. I don't do PUGs, no matter how hard Bliz pushes for them. I do not currently have an outlet for my desire to raid and most people just head for LFG when they come on so there are very few guild 5 mans either. Therefore, there is little drive for me to go further with these toons. Thus the warning - I may start hanging out on Terenas some to get my WoW fix. You have been warned.;)

Just an update - Lochnarmy2™ has gained a foothold on Terenas. They are all now at least lvl 35 (only 9 toons - there is a lvl 1 banker) and have trained artisan in their two main professions as well as cooking and first aid. The next push is to lvl 50 and Master professions.

Just an update - Lochnarmy2™ has gained a foothold on Terenas. They are all now at least lvl 35 50 (only 9 toons - there is a lvl 1 banker) and have trained artisan master in their two main professions as well as cooking and first aid and expert in fishing. The next push is to lvl 50 65 and master grand master professions.

update to the update (because I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seats waiting to see how I'm doing Wink )
