Kil'Jaeden Down Thrice? - Pantalaimon - 05-26-2008 http://www.sk-gaming.com/content/17166-Kil...OWN_World_First http://method-guild.co.uk/portal/ http://nihilum.mousesports.com/en/news/707...owns_kiljaeden/ <insert snarky European comment here> So yeah, tried to not make it one of those infamous "link posts" but failed :whistling: Quick! Mirajj! Write something witty up for the front page! Kil'Jaeden Down Thrice? - NiteFox - 05-27-2008 So an European guild nets the world first, despite the sizeable advantage the US got in the Great Gate Race? Unless I'm mistaken and the final gate opened at the same time worldwide... Seems that Nihilum where wrong. Maybe they were complaining because they could never get the world first, as opposed to Europe being unable to get it... Kil'Jaeden Down Thrice? - Icebird - 05-27-2008 I think the European guilds got most of the significant "firsts" in Sunwell (Nihilum - Twin Eredars, SK-Gaming M'uru and Kil'jaeden). SK-Gaming supposedly racked up ludicrious hours on both bosses (50-something hours over 4 days on M'uro for instance), so you could make the argument that they benefited from the more generous annual leave allowances you usually find in Europe. I read an interview with the SK-Gaming leaders, and they felt in retrospect the gate system wasn't as bad as thought it would be. They could spend 4 days working on a boss almost non-stop, then recover for 3 weeks before the next surge. In this case, I think the firsts went to the guild that wanted them the most. US first kill of Kil'Jaeden apparently went to Deus Vox. Chris |
