Hating EA has been the cool thing to do for a long time (and for good reason), but I must say, they've made a turnaround in the past year or so. They are putting out some neat new games. Mirror's Edge, for example.

It's so cool that EA took the time to do a thing like that.
I've followed the development of Mirror's Edge, and I must admit I'm intrigued. Cautious, but optimistic. There is a gameplay-video of ME though, where Faith disarms a guy after he fires a shotgun-blast straight at her. Hopefully, they'll iron out these inaccuracies before launch.
Still, EA does deserve a bit of bile for re-releasing the same crap over and over.

But I was actually thinking of going and seeing if there is a ps3 updated version of SSX so my 5 year old daughter and I can play it together. Would that be feeding the beast, considering I bought SSX, SSX Tricky, and SSX 3 for my old PS2? =)
p.s. The reason I actually thought of it is that my old SSX games aren't very compatible with the ps3. The game freezes up a lot.

I'm pretty sure they have God Mode on. I believe the enemies weren't missing their shots so much as she was just immune to damage. It makes sense though. Dying doesn't make for a good gameplay example. At least, I assume the fact that the shotgun blast to the face not hurting her is your complaint?
