Patch 2.05: Crusaders 2.0 - Brimstone - 05-14-2014 http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/14138344/patch-205-now-live-5-13-2014 Along with a ton of other changes, they removed the godsforsaken movement penalty from Heavenly Might. I won't even know how to act, playing a class that doesn't feel like it's running around in knee-deep mud... My character (HC): http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Aahzmadius-1570/hero/45977342 Background: this character was leveled with the "switching at the end of rifts" method, along with opening about 40 Horadric Caches that my DH had stashed. So I have 0 monster kills at this point, and I don't intend (at this point) to pour a bunch of resources into her. Looking at the gear, what build would you recommend? Thanks in advance. Oh, I guess I should say I will probably play her on Hard bounty runs in the short term. I backed off of diff level for that simple reason. Urzael fight simply took too long. Boring grind. RE: Patch 2.05: Crusaders 2.0 - Aahzmadius - 05-30-2014 So here's what I've come up with so far...this is a reduced-cooldown build with a Thorns theme: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Aahzmadius-1570/hero/45977342 T1 solo is not a problem, and grouping in T2 feels comfy-although I need some more AR to really feel tanky. I started messing around with Condemn last night; anyone have suggestions on the best rune to use? I may switch in Heaven's Fury for Falling Sword due to the shorter cooldown-although I kind of like the 1-second of damage immunity before impact for HC. I'm also thinking about switching to the Long Arm of the Law passive when I group with my WD buddy. I just buff the fetishes and pick up loot from the monsters they kill. That's actually why I chose the instant blast on Condemn; if I took the ones that delayed, the fetishes had already killed the bad guys before the explosion went off! On the positive side, I can keep the Bowmen up about 95% of the time, and they are amazing with the Tasker gloves. Also, something that completely surprised me was how good this character is at running Normal bounties. I made an alternate DH just to run those, but the 'Sader seems to be even faster. I guess 90% uptime on horsey will do that... |
