I was trying to kill off a hireling tonight in as noble a way possible by doing baal runs.
Always before I have met Colenzo, Achmel, Bartuc, Ventar, Lister. Admittedly I am sleep deprived, but I would afirm that on one run the sequence went from Colenzo to Bartuc -- no Achmel. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Is it even possible?
In case anyone takes me to be cruel and demented, the reason I was trying to kill off my hero's poor hireling is so that I could do some damage tests. I was unsuccessful.

Is the minion spawning fixed? I'm pretty sure there's a few different random packs with Lister and the wrecking crew at the end.

That's bizzare. The packs should always spawn in the same order. Maybe the merc killed them during the lag somehow?

The merc is good, but not *that* good. Seriously, the Colenzo bodies were cleared away, we left the area as usual because of lag, went back in and met Bartuc. It is usually easy to tell when you've met Achmel, as everyone is green.
