Magic Arrow isn't magic damage, it's just an arrow that doesn't take up one from your quiver :blink:

In 1.09, it does physical.
In 1.10, it features a percentile magic damage conversion unless the synergy is broken.

In fact, it's good enough to take down PIs pretty quickly. The Basin people were even wondering if it was bugged and doing 100% magical. Don't know if that's the case though.
