Assasin - stifler - 08-21-2003 Im starting a assasin and im wondering wut the best strategy is(not hardcore) -stifler Assasin - DSTheHermit - 08-22-2003 http://www.guidenet.net/resources/wanker.html Assasin - kier - 08-22-2003 Probably a hybrid for someone starting off. Choose a trap, probably death sentry. Max a shaddow, probably shaddow master. Get claw block high if you use 2 claws, and claw mastery. Get dragon claw high if you use 2 claws, if not choose a charge up skill. You can make trappers, and if you are in 1.10 they will be sweet, but there kit is expensive. Made one with level 42 traps, and generaly you just get told that your a pker. Martial artists are hard to play and have the most expensive set up for an ass, as they need good damage claws, if pos a nats set. Hybrids you can go for a nice kit with bartucs, etc, which shouldn't set you back too much. Kier Assasin - unless - 08-22-2003 Max psychic hammer, max blade shield, max fists of fire. All stat points into energy. Assasin - Occhidiangela - 08-22-2003 My generic Trapper setup was on the old Armory forum, and is now gone I see. There are a couple of decent guides still on file a dii.net for 1.09D. Do you intend to play your trapper in version 1.09D, or is your question about assassins germane to patch 1.10? If your question is about 1.10, I suggest you read every post on Atma's Tavern Armory Workshop Maggot Lair Concerning Assassins. Lots of info there, and doing your own homework is the sign of a good person. More information is needed on your aims and objectives, although kier gave you good advice in his concise reply. For 1.10, I suggest that you create an assassin, open the skill trees, and look at each skill and what it does to boost other skills before you design your build. Trappers are easier to play than Martial Arts Assassins unless you are very good at the twicther style of playing. DSTheHermit provided you some advice you need to read and heed. :D See also FAQ, Etiquette, and Rules in the upper right hand corner of this forum for amplification on the Hermit's terse, yet appropriate, reply. |
