I am an old returning user. Dusted off Diablo 2 after more than a year. I am only going to be playing single player. I remember there being a way in verion 1.09 of LOD to make the monsters tougher, as if there were 8 players in the game, but for the life of me cannot remember how to do that. I searched the forums, but I must not be entering in the proper stuff to get the result I need. I can't remember really anything about diablo at all, and it is coming back slowly. So again, getting single player to play like an 8-player network game.

In 1.09, press enter (just like if you're trying to say something), type players 8, press enter. In 1.10, do the same, but put a slash before the command (i.e. /players 8).
