I was wondering if anyone knows if ed on armour will effect warcry since it is physical damage....

Sorry, no luck here. As far as i'm aware (i've played several barbs with heavy war cry use) this doesn't work. ED is solely applied to weapons, and war cry is more like a spell. This is why it doesn't carry other modifiers such as flee, crushing blow, poison, monkey feces, etc.
Besides, it is one of the most powerful skills out there, so i'm ok with it not carrying ED :) Just focus on its stunning ability rather than its damage potential.

No. War cry doesn't use a weapon, so it's not an attack and isn't affected by any ED.
