I only quickly glanced some code without running the game, and it looked like regular chests (that is, operatefunction 4, would, unless sparkling chests, and unless being some other special cases (of which being locked was part of it), would not make a drop at all 25% of the time. That seemed much though. I might have goofed on the flag for locking a chest (if so, the chance might not be correct that I posted), or I missread something, that is why I thought sparkling chests always are locked, they get that flag set it seemed. I think I have to look at it closer.

Sparkling chests are rarely locked in my experience, and normal chests can definitely drop nothing (and often do, in one player games).
