Please Save The Day - Sabra - 04-19-2005 Sword_of_Doom,Apr 19 2005, 04:48 PM Wrote:I will definitely be there. Our last party was one of the highlight of my WoW experiences (and that includes Onyxia and Major Domo) and it was a great time getting to know all my fellow Lurkers. We are a fun and crazy bunch and i am up for anything that night. Thanks so much for your kind words, Nin. It's great to know that my zany ideas have finally found their audience! ;) Please Save The Day - Treesh - 04-19-2005 Sabra,Apr 19 2005, 01:37 PM Wrote:Bring Mitzy for the party and Ramala for the raid. We'll need all of our 60s if I know Flyn.Bah! Being 60 is overrated! Look at all the trouble a little warrior can get into (and out of again) without being 60. ;) Please Save The Day - TheDragoon - 04-19-2005 I should hopefully be able to show up. Not sure who I'll bring yet, though. :) Please Save The Day - Tal - 04-19-2005 Treesh,Apr 19 2005, 02:59 PM Wrote:Bah! Being 60 is overrated! Look at all the trouble a little warrior can get into (and out of again) without being 60. ;) We'll let you and GG handle the "getting into trouble and out of" part of the party. I aim to cause trouble and keep it going. ;) :P Please Save The Day - Abattoir - 04-19-2005 Ab should be able to make this one for more than a brief streaking like he did last time. Not to say he won't be streaking... the brevity is the only factor I'm addressing. Naked Lurker Raid! :P Please Save The Day - Zippyy - 04-20-2005 Zip zip zip! I'll be there. Let's raid the giant swirly thing in the middle of the ocean! Please Save The Day - Sabra - 04-24-2005 The Lurkers Guild Spring Party & Raid is scheduled for Sunday May 1, 2005 starting at 8 PM server time. Your Hosts: Sabra and NSD Your Raid Leader: Flyndar Gathering venue: Duskwood in front of the Inn. The Raid Location will be announced by Flyn at the party It is close to Duskwood and should be reasonably accessible to all. NPC level, I'm told, is low to mid 50s and there is a Horde fp in the location. REMINDER: FUN PARTY ITEMS WILL BE MAILED TO THOSE ATTENDING If you haven't RSVPed, please do so now. Our party will feature a special commodity to be mailed on the day of the event to those who register their attendance in advance, so please let us know if you're coming. (We will have items on hand for those who find they can attend at the last minute.) NEWS: WE HAVE A PRIZE DONATION!!! While the prize itself is only useful to a certain segment of our community, I am told by the donator that it will sell for a rather nice price at the AH. So ... in order to award this well ... I need to come up with a CONTEST! I'm thinking it over and asking for ideas from others. If you have a good idea for a contest in which all levels may participate equally, please send me a PM by Wed. 4/27. Still could use a few more items to reimburse the expense of obtaining the special commodity. If you get an un-needed item that will sell at the AH, please WoW-mail it to Conzo. (Also thinking that NSD and I may have a "last minute rush" to acquire more of the special commodity once all have responded. We want each player to have sufficient item quantities to make the evening memorable.) FYI, Sabraelf, who is level 19, kicked up two green items that sold, so all levels may feel free to participate. See note below. A word about the special commodity... it has been costly to amass in the quantities needed. If any of our Alliance Guild members who care to contribute un-needed BoE or popular trade/craft items to help defray expenses, please WoW-mail them to my AH character, Conzo. Please Save The Day - Lissa - 04-24-2005 I'll be there...with who is a good question... Please Save The Day - Bun-Bun - 04-25-2005 I'm in, probably have Hykim show up. Please Save The Day - Raelynn - 04-25-2005 I'll try and stop by for the party with Raelynn. Maybe my girlfriend can stop in as well with her character, Fellwynd. No guarantees, as I'm hitting crunch-time for school. Please Save The Day - Bob the Beholder - 04-25-2005 I wonder if my puny level 13 warlock would be able to hang around there... Maybe I could power-level him insane-like, to maybe reach the heights level 18 for this momentous occasion. Please Save The Day - Catlyn - 04-25-2005 I'll most likely be there. +1, as usual. Please Save The Day - Treesh - 04-25-2005 kandrathe,Apr 25 2005, 05:40 AM Wrote:Just shout out for an escort. Someone will get you there safe.As long as you aren't a night elf, it's pretty easy even for a level 13 to get to darkshire safely. It's a whole lot easier than the run through the Wetlands. ;) But yes, escorts are available, even for the Night Elves. :D Please Save The Day - Sabra - 04-25-2005 Bob the Beholder,Apr 25 2005, 05:42 AM Wrote:I wonder if my puny level 13 warlock would be able to hang around there... My thought, and it may be unrealistic, but it might be a really good thing for the lowbies to be sort of like scouts and take responsibility for keeping an eye on world and local defense. But we'll get you in there and try to keep you alive. Please Save The Day - Quark - 04-25-2005 Quark,Apr 19 2005, 11:38 AM Wrote:Consider Mitzy there! Change: Consider Mitzy there, even if it's on an awful laptop that doesn't even compare to my desktop! *grumbles* So the desktop worked after swapping the heatsink - for 2 full days. System is now hanging under load again. Next up: try to weasel a MB out of Asus and a power supply out of Antec. Please Save The Day - Sabra - 04-26-2005 The Lurkers Guild Spring Party & Raid is scheduled for Sunday May 1, 2005 starting at 8 PM server time, AND something new has been added. We will be holding a Costume Contest and the winner will receive our generously donated prize. (See quote below) Please reply in this portion of this topic if you plan to compete. You can get cold feet or compete at the last minute without posting. I just want the judges to know approximately how many people they need to inspect. Full Guild Participation in the contest would be great, but it is optional. You can attend the party and raid and not compete in the costume contest. Rules: 1) The Judges will decide on an indoor location with adequate light and then make a channel announcement that the contest is starting. 3) Each contestant will come forward singly to be inspected by our panel of three judges. 4) The judges will confer and an announcement of the winner will be made in this thread within 24 hours. 5) The generously donated prize will be awarded to the winner by WoW-mail. 6) There will be great rejoicing. Our Judges: Grizelle (Head Judge) Nini and Tal. Quote:NEWS: WE HAVE A PRIZE DONATION!!! Please Save The Day - Hillary - 04-26-2005 NSD has already called me Simon . . . Oo Please Save The Day - Mirajj - 04-26-2005 I should be able to get there, at least for a little while. I won't be in the contest (I won't be around long enough) but I will at least likely put in an appearance for a little bit before work now. I plan on competing - costume: Stud Muffin Wannabe a.k.a. Microletch (quick hijack - Any Evenescence fans out there? I'm listening to Fallen which just arrived today. My favorite on there is Taking Over Me [darn Lord Kazzak kiting video reminded me I wanted to order it]. Any other suggestions for similar tunes?) |
