Phoenix Strike

I have an elemental martial artist, mostly using phoenix strike. As such, I was hoping to get a good % skill bonus armor, like ormus' to boost my overall damage. however, it does not seem to affect phoenix strike at all. A friend suggested that it might merely be an error with the appearance, while the practical phoenix strike damage would be improved.

If anyone could tell me if %skill damage affects phoenix strike practically, t'would be nice. =)

It would appear to me that, just like the skill display indicates, none of the phoenix strike effect, nor the fire patch from FoF, nor the charged bolt or nova from CoT are affected by +% skill damage.

Does -enemy resist work with these skills?
