Question about MF...

I looked back a bit, but didn't see anything regarding this question... I'm sure it will sound noobish but...

If I have a bunch of MF gear on swap, can I use my regular items, Occulus and Lidless, to bring Meph to low health, then swap over to my double Isted Ali Baba and Six Isted Monarch, bringing my magic find up by a LOT, and then kill him, will my Ali Baba and Monarch's MF count towards the kill, or what?

Shields can only have four sockets.

What matters is the MF when the monster dies. It doesn't matter what equipment you were using before the time of death.
