Avenger + Vengence Question

So I'm looking at all these avenger builds, and one of them particularly appealed to me...

4x Zeal
20x Vengeance
20x Fanatasism
20x Salvation (synergy, and helpful)

The guy put the rest of his points into Vengeance synergies. He didn't really say how swell it was doing, so I'm asking you guys if it's viable or not.

A question about vengeance... I went to a skill planner, and when maxed out, vengeance does +184 percent coldghtning/fire damage. 184 percent of what?? Of your weapon, or of how much damage you are doing initially?

184% of your weapon damage. Weapon damage is whatever is listed on your weapon plus any non-weapon sources of +min/max damage.

So is that physical damage only?

Yes. The percent is based solely on your (physical) weapon damage. If you have any non-physical damage, that'd still work, but it wouldn't be increased by the vengeance at all. For example, a 1-2 cold damage charm would still add just 1-2 cold damage.
