Hail Fragbait!

Congratulations on that third dot, and also on your finds...I'm still a bit jealous of that LWB...

If you want to try out other chars or just deal with some baddies, I'd like to do some runs with you again... just send me a message if you're inclined.

Take care,

Lord_Olf

Fragbait,Mar 3 2005, 09:14 AM Wrote:Hi!

I'm sorry I'm bumping this old topic up here, but I'm just so happy today:

Midora-Lherok of course still exists, and today, she finally managed to get her third dot.
Yay! She's lvl 40 already, but thanks to my not so careful playing habits, this task proved to be too difficult/ time-consuming until today.

As if that ain't enough, she found some great items the last few days that make her even stronger:

71 AC FPM +119%AC, +19 Vit

Royal Circlet (my first!)

and...

a perfect Drag/Zod amu, +50/+20 !!!

Man, I was jumping on my chair. She switches this goody now with her 40%resall/+18 Dex amu. Along with her Savage LWB of the Heavens, she gets along quite well. Admittedly 251 AC is a bit low, especially in hell, but her most significant weak point are her rings: +19%resall, +17%resall/+14 Str.
I got two 'of the heavens' on the ground, and use them for recovery with my Windy and a ~137 AC plate (sometimes my Constricting Ring, too), but most times I prefer the max on all resistance slots. And given the fact that my motivaton is going to sink now that I got my third dot (finally), I guess she'll have to live with those rings. Heck, most women would be glad about such jewels!
Ahh.
Much better now  :w00t:

Well done, and a counterpoint story. I had not played a rogue in over two years, so I started up one as an Immortal Hero. That means, if you die, you are done.

LOL I got the level 8 normal and through being a complete spaz, and not controlling the flow of goats with a doorway, I got killed by three Night Clan goats while I drank, it appears, three blues in a row to heal myself. Oops, gooned that one, didn't I!

I need to practice a bit before I go Immortal again, that was completely pathetic!

No.

I was playing alone (with my IPX protocol ;) ) and Lazarus was kind enough to drop that goodie. I was amazed, too, since I had only gotten utter crap from that lad before.

PS: @ Lord_Olf: Could happen, but I'm not altogether sure about it right now. Gonna have to be a bit busy at varsity next term, and I'm still thinking about trying out 'The Dark'. Plus there's Doom 3 that begs me to play it. But I will definitely let you know when I got the time, thanks!

Greetings, Fragbait

Alright,

No need to open up another thread, I figured. Yet this doesn't fit in the elemental damage thread either. So I thought - put it here.

Just inviting you to play with me - I've many an hour free these days, preferably thursday noon, or tuesday and wednesday after 16:00. We're talking about Central European Time here, and preferably European realm. Basically I'm writing this because noone joined me after I posted on the sticky 'welcome, join me'-thread lately... but could be that I just announced my play to late.
Well maybe we can work things out soon, I'd love to. :)

See ya, Fragbait
