character transfer

i have both a laptop and a computer i installed d2 on computer and now my cd drive doesnt work how do i transfer my data to my laptop i have wireless network with computer

If your talking about transfering singleplayer files, look in the directory you created diablo II in, there should be a folder entitled saves, or saved games or something of that nature, copy the entire contents of the folder, and move it over to your laptop and put it in the same place there.

If your wondering about charatures on Battle.net you don't need to worry about them, because you can access them from any computer. (Assuming you remember your password that is.)
