Combat Log

I run with the simple chat combat log. There are several reasons I don't use the non-simple combat log:

1.) I have found no way to prevent the header from showing.
2.) I have found no way to turn off mouseover highlight.
3.) If I get the log configured for one character it seems totally messed up for others.


The simple chat combat log meets most of my needs. The biggest problem is that Blizzard chose to include crafting messages. Why should crafting messages go in a combat log? (Unless of course someone were making bandages in the middle of a battle I suppose.)

Does anyone know of a setting or of an addon that will keep the simple chat combat log but remove crafting messages?

Or does anyone know of a way to remove the header and mouseover highlight from the non-simple combat log?

I used to use SimpleCombatLog, but now that Blizzard has the new log with three headings, as you say, mine is pretty useless as well.

Does the simple mode show all combat-related messages? Maybe there is a new addon that filters it like SimpleCombatLog used to.
