When I installed the Beta from the .iso over at Diablo Evolution I had some trouble initially. Then someone informed me that it is best to install the beta first, then the retail version. That seemed to do the trick.
I noticed one intersting thing about the beta. In order to run Diablo Retail on my dual monitor display I have to switch from NVidia's "Dual View"(which has your desktop on one monitor and a blank screen on the other that you can drag items to and fro) to the Clone view(which shows the same image on both monitors). When running the beta, however, it started up just fine in Dual View. I would love to play the retail version in Dual View. Diablo seems to be the only program I use that needs to be in Clone view to be running. Needless to say, it is quite frustrating switching between the different views.
Does anyone else have this problem?
