I agree it does come down to what you make of it, and opportunities is what needs to be given out. Certainly determinism is a dead end wsy to look at things.

But unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the agenda of many. We'd rather throw people in jail for the witchhunt of the week, or use it as an excuse to steal from the innocent (civil forfeiture)
