Well, first off I should explain how things came about. My last two characters were rushed. Now, I'm asking people NOT to comment on that bit of info, because it's a debate for another time/place. The important thing is I don't regret doing it, because I've gotten much more enjoyment out of the chars in NM/hell than I would've slogging through act 1 normal... again.
However.
I realized that maybe I'm taking the wrong attitude towards normal. Yes, it's boring. Yes, it's annoying. Yes, it's easy. However, this time I'm going to get what I can out of it, rather than skipping it. So my new girl is going through as much of normal as I can stand.
She's currently at clvl 5, has more or less full cleared up to and including the stony field (just missed lvl 2 of the caves and rak's gang). She's a tankazon who will (eventually) be equiped to handle basically anything hell can throw at her. But before that, she's going to go untwinked, again, through as much as I can stomach.
So. (Yes, there is a point to all this). If anyone would like to accompany this little rock, she would like some company (soloing act 1 normal is like adding insult to injury). So. From now on, when I go to play her, I will be playing in a game called LLnorm. The password will be LL. I typically will be playing evenings at ~8-10 EST (I don't really have set playing times; that's just an idea of when's best to find me). If anyone wants to accompany me through some early parts of normal, I'd love to have you on board.
Look for me on US-east, softcore, under *kierrstaad (or *gekko). Perhaps, if this works at all, we could have an informal game list, much like the amazon basin. But who knows.
For the time being, I'm just looking to find some decent party games. So if anyone wants to join up, come along. We'll have some fun.
