Bone Armor calculation

I was looking more specifically as Bone Armor -- trying to calculate out how to maximize bone spear, and I was struck by the fact that my Bone Armor value was already 110. How could it get there?

I have invested 3 skill point into BA, 3 points into BW and 1 point into BP. And I have a +1 P&B skills wand.

My take on how synergies calculate was BA * (1+(BW*.15)+(BP*.15)). It should be a Level 4 Bone Armor (50 dmg absorb), so 50 * 1.6 or 80. Not 110.

I loaded up the empty LOD-Necro from DII.net and put 1 point into BA, then 1 point into BW. The point into BA showed BA level at 20, which is correct. The additional point in BW raised it 15 points to 35. Each additional point in BW or BP raises it 15 points. So it is actually at least displaying as BA+(BW*15)+(BP*15).

Theoretically the max would be 210 BA * (1+(.15*20)+(.15*20)) or 210*7 = 1470. The way that they have it displayed, it would be 210 + 300 +300 or 810.

So for the test; I maxed BW and BP and put 1 point into BA -- so it should be 20 *(1+(20*.15)+(20*.15)) or 20 * 7 = 140 and is displaying as 620. Walked out into the blood moor with armor on, and base life of 252. The armor took about 8 hits from a fallen, and then the 252 went to 7 in about 2-3 hits from a fallen. So I would say it is acting like 620 damage rather than 140.

So, its more than a display bug, it is being calculated incorrectly.

This is a bug. Instead of the Bone Armor synergies adding 15% damage absorbed, they add 15 damage absorbed, essentially making Bone Wall and Prison better spent points than in Bone Armor, which only adds 10 per level.

Unless BA is past lvl 9 (100 BA), when .15 *100 starts to be > 15.
