Ive heard something about that the elemental arrows for the amazon is autohit, but why do they add AR as well?

The physical portion of elemental arrows no longer hit automatically. The physical damage is contingent on a normal to-hit roll. I assume the things that the arrow carries, such as non-splash elemental damage and special effects, are only applied if the arrow "hits".
The elemental damage from the skill is still automatic. |
