Mithril was good to me (or my levelling Paladin) until about two weeks ago, then prices plummeted to 17g/stack 
.
Thankfully Thick and Rugged Leather still bring some gold, I made roughly 1700g from levels 47-57. Overall, making money while leveling has never been as easy as now, in my perception.
