5. There's also a unique storm lord, Doomlock, which can disappear (and grants this ability to his minions). He is set to spawn on an incorrect level, however, and therefore will never be seen in an unmodified game. He's pretty interesting to watch though. There is also the unique Dark One in the church, and the overlord, Baron Sludge, in the catacombs.

17. The most important difference is what item types they spawn on. Prefix elements only spawn on melee weapons, suffix elements only on bows.

30. Quarter staff sounds pretty inexpensive to me. I wonder how many gold piles its price is based on.
