Second, there's the more subtle diminishing returns issue that is best demonstrated by an example: If you have 100 mana, a 10 point mana boost is significant. If you have 2000 mana, a 10 point mana boost isn't.
However, once again, the devil is in the details. We'll have to see how well Blizzard has designed the system to prevent people from creating such overpowering characters.
