Hey Guys,
Recently been farming items in the hopes (vain atm) of getting some good gear for inferno.
Now, i've grouped with a friend and gotten to outside Diablo to get the Inferno Staff of Herding.
Been getting 5 stacks of NV before going in, and as yet even with MF gear and +270 MF, have not seen a LE or descent item drop.
Is NV doing anything worthwhile, it seems to me that random is random, all the NV does is make it now likely to get Rares, garbage though they mostly are, perhaps that's the point and i'm missing it, but i'd have thought that with the increase in MF you'd have a better chance (not great) of seeing LE's or patterns drop.
And then, even with the patterns, their overly expensive to make for no return, i have the 6 property axe pattern, it costs 119+ k gold to make and a bunch of mats and though i've only made 2 and they were both vendored, so a couple of 100 gold returned for well over 120k each, what's the point?
