Why doesn't my shift key work??

Title says it all... :[ Won't work in regular diablo, or hellfire.

Using a laptop - just tried using a different keyboard as well, to no avail. Can't find anyone else with this problem.

Windows 7, have everything else workin fine.. Arg! Any ideas?
