Its not just the hair, nothing about Vin Deisel except his physique reminds me at all of Steve Rogers.

I totally agree. Vin Diesel is no Captain America. He's not even close.

Also, I think that a Captain America film would flop. He is just too one dimensional. As you've already stated, he has no vices. Captain America might work for comics, but I don't see how he can translate into an enjoyable film. Think back to Cyclops in the X-Men films. He was a sucky character because he was too righteous. Captain America is like this only 100x worse.

I can't even think of a popular Hollywood actor that could pull off Captain America. Frankly, the only guys that come to mind are second rate WWE castoffs. Maybe the guy who plays Sawyer in Lost? I really don't know.
